gucci-messenger-bagsI just enrolled in graduate school after three years in the working world. I spent most of the interim saving up money and making sure that I really had the passion and willpower to pursue a graduate degree. Most of my classes are at night, but it’s still crucial to look somewhat stylish during my treks around campus.

I’ve noticed some frumpy older women who walk around with roller bags as if they are waiting to get on a plane. Likewise, some of the students wear traditional oversized backpacks that make them look just plain silly - as if they were 5 years old again. It became clear that I would need to strike a careful balance of fashion and function. Without much effort, I found a selection of Gucci messenger bags online that makes me feel confident and motivated for my studies.

burberryCleaning a leather purse, handbag or other accessory can be a tricky proposition. As you’re undoubtedly aware, excess wetness can ruin a fashionable bag in practically no time. If your bag has begun to collect dirt and smudges, you should take a proactive approach - but don’t forget to check the manufacturer’s recommendations before doing anything drastic.

Begin by emptying the contents of your Burberry purse and wiping the inside with a soft, dry cloth. Most bags can handle a careful mixture of liquid soap and distilled water, but only apply it to the bag sparingly. If you’re working with a sponge, make sure it’s barely wet before touching it to the bag. Wipe the leather exterior with a damp rag and dry almost immediately with a towel. Think about the process of buffing a car to bring out its desired shine - cleaning a bag is very similar.
